This is who is in the room.
Female Forward is not a category. It is a collection of real women across the Tri-Cities and Lower Mainland who have decided that building in isolation is not good enough, and that the table should always be bigger.

From ten women at a diner to the room you see today.
Every milestone in the Female Forward story was built by the women who showed up and kept showing up.
I started this with a coffee invite to ten women I respected. No agenda, no structure — just a table and the belief that we were all craving the same thing: real connection, in person, with women who get it. What I did not expect was that one morning would become a movement. Female Forward was never supposed to be a networking group. It was supposed to be a room where women could stop performing and start building. Turns out, that is exactly what was missing.

The First Table
Ten women at a local diner. A free morning and a belief that women entrepreneurs deserved more than a Zoom call. Female Forward Collective was born.
Moving to Pitt Meadows Golf Club
The community outgrew its first venue. FFC moved to Pitt Meadows Golf Club, a home that matched the ambition of the room and the quality of the women in it.
Word Travels. Community Grows.
Bring a Friend promotions, strong word of mouth, and an open invitation to community leaders to bring their expertise to our room changed the energy. New voices, new audiences, and a room that kept getting bigger because the women in it kept telling their people.
Largest Event to Date
The April 2026 breakfast with Shirley Weir of Menopause Chicks brought 105 women into the room, our first 100+ room, a 252% increase from the founding gathering just 21 months earlier.
Every stage. Every industry. One table.
Female Forward does not curate by category. The room works because of its range. A city councillor beside a startup founder, genuinely invested in each other's growth.

Who attends
A morning in the room.
Not a pitch deck. Not a speed-networking rotation. Here is what a Female Forward breakfast actually looks like from the moment you arrive.
Doors open
You arrive at Pitt Meadows Golf Club, a private venue overlooking the greens and the banks of the Pitt River. Coffee is on the table and a full breakfast buffet is available to pre-order before the event: Eggs Benny, Yogurt Parfait, fruit, protein, pastries and more.
The Beauty Bar and professional headshot station are open before the program and after the speaker session. Pre-book your spot and skip the line. Details in our Linktree →
Open networking
Dedicated time to move through the room before the program begins. Meet the women at other tables, reconnect with familiar faces, and start conversations you came here to have.
Welcome & intentional seating
Every table seats six women, intentionally placed. You are not left to find a familiar face. You are seated beside women worth knowing, in a room designed for it.
Table introductions & prompts
Guided prompts designed to go deeper than a business card. By the end you know what every woman at your table is building, what they need, and how you can help each other.
Expert speaker or workshop
One woman with something real to say, facilitated by Meghan in a fireside or workshop format. Every session is actionable.
Spotlights, referrals & open networking
The room shines a light on women doing remarkable things. Referrals happen out loud. Open networking follows, with warm introductions already in motion.
The parking lot
Officially the event ends. This is where the real connections form, follow-ups booked and collaborations that started as a sentence.
In their own words.
Meghan invited me into her community to speak about achieving dreams and goals. And what a treat it was! Her group of entrepreneurial women were welcoming to me, to each other, and to new people joining for the first time. They shared authentically and fully participated when invited. I am so grateful to know that communities like this are thriving.
It was such a privilege to speak at a FFC event. The room had a genuinely warm, collaborative energy with ambitious women who were eager to learn and connect. I made several meaningful connections, including meeting a mentor, even as a speaker. Meghan curates both the speakers and the attendees so intentionally, which makes the entire experience so impactful.
You put the C in Community and the Rah-Rah in rallying cry. You do not just encourage people, you practically shove confidence in their handbag.
So very thankful for all that you do! You make networking a breeze, you are helpful, kind, encouraging, always willing to help. I am so glad I met you.
